This artwork was a collaboration between me and Reivash  who drew this illustration for Katy's first book.

This scene depicts the meeting of 6 year old orphaned Mermaid Neráida and Alexandrous "Pappous" Leventis, Katy's grandfather, when he was a young man before World War II.  It is because of Pappous encounter with Mermaid Neráida that Katy is drawn to the sea many years later
